Prices of nickel, copper and aluminium moved up moderately in the non-ferrous metal market here today due to good demand from industrial users.

Nickel moved up by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 1,510 from Rs 1,500 previously while copper wire bar rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 398 and copper cable scrap by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 368.

However, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper utensils scrap,copper sheets cutting, aluminium ingots and aluminium utensils scrap also ended higher by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 363, Rs 357, Rs 325, Rs 350, Rs 122 and Rs 107 respectively.
